MACKIE'S CORNER: An unused, undated postcard but obviously the early 1900s. Immediate right, the entrance to the north end of the Railway Station. Apparently Todds sold blankets, gloves and furs. Opposite Todds, Walkers Opticians and Jewellers. Adjacent to them, J.Coopers and Sons Boots and Shoes Shop. Their trademark was a beehive which can be seen on the corner of the third storey of the building level with and to the right of the word "Sons"
