This is a larger bowl, good as a serving bowl or for holding fruit. Or good for ice cream. I won't judge. :) It was decorated on the outside with dark teal slip which was carved away in a fern pattern to reveal the natural white color of the clay beneath, a process called sgraffito. Its almost 9 inches across and slightly over 3 inches tall. It comfortably holds 42 liquid ounces.
