Giacometti Figurative Sculptures: 4th grade lesson plan. Students wrapped wire and tinfoil to build an armature for their plaster sculptures. Students built upon these armatures with layers of plaster gauze to create texture and heft, then painted in metallic shades as though they were cast out of metal.
