The geometric patterned oak in the storefront and interior ceiling bring an element of modernity to a traditional building material. It reinforces the idea of using old-world ideas in a current and exciting way; the way the client combines ancient apothecary blending methods with modern day living.
This would be my one-woman day spa set up. The facial room would be my massage/body treatment room. I would remove the cabinets from the closet and install a really good shower. The waxing room would then become my facial/waxing room. I would need to install a sink and make sure that each room is at least 80-100 sq. ft. The changing room would become my new laundry room. Then viola! The day spa would then be open for business.
