Project MSPIF Stools by Hao Chen – “Milling Machine as a Drawing Tool” The MSPIF Stools are a series of experimental objects that explore new craft possibilities with manual milling machines in the digital age, taking inspiration from CNC Single Point Incremental Forming (SPIF). This technique not only creates a unique pattern but also strengthens the aluminium sheet through a new toolpath drawing method, incorporating body engagement in the forming process.
