BEEF STEW flour meat & season with 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning. Brown meat & onions. Add to potatoes, carrots, 1 bay leaf, 14 ounce can drained diced tomatoes & fresh parsley. Add 2 1/2 cups water, 1/2 cup Pinot Noir red wine & 2 beef bouillon cubes. Cook on high 4 hours, medium on 2 hours. Last hour, add little cornstarch to thicken.

So, this is one of those large batch, thirty-2 ounces of frozen broccoli. I thought it out and I chopped it up. Half cup of onion, red onion, just like that. Alright. Uh one tablespoon of garlic. Look y'all. I I I pretended like I was on one of those fancy cooking shows and pre measured all my ingredients in pretty glass bowls. Uh celery. Half cup. Get that in there. Alright. And we're going to give this a little we're making something real delicious alright y'all real delicious so if y'all want to use fresh broccoli you can actually funny story I sent my husband Fred to the grocery store and I told him to get me fresh broccoli so he got me frozen so guess what we're going to make it work alright so you know what y'all sometimes you gotta remind your husbands that they they don't listen all the time so you gotta you gotta like tell them a few times alright two tablespoons of butter right on in just like that okay let me do some C pepper pepper I don't know however much you want alright just some some pepper and some pink Himalayan salt although I heard that this stuff isn't good no more I don't know I I gotta look it up someone sent me an article but how it's like not good so we'll see alright so we're making this vegetarian vegetable broth so I would say if you're using fresh broccoli use four cups which is this whole container since we're using frozen there's still there's some liquid in it oh sorry I'm splashing my camera woman sorry it's splashing at her I'm going to use about three cups, alright? So, three cups if you're using frozen broccoli and then we're using about 1/ 4 cup of cornstarch. So, cornstarch is just going to help it thicken up a little bit, alright? So, we're just going to mix this in. I mean, I I I guess I read you're supposed to mix the cornstarch with the broth and then mix it in but in my head, that don't make no sense, alright? Everything's going to the same place. So, guess what? Why would we dirty an extra bowl? Although, I did dirty a lot of extra bowls for this recipe. So, whatever. Alright. I'm just contradicting myself over here. Alright, y'all. There we go. So, now we're going to do here. We have one more step for this. We're making a delicious broccoli cheese soup, alright? So, we're going to cover this. We're going to cook this on low for a couple hours and then we have one more step y'all. I'm so excited. Alright, y'all. So, this has been cooking on low for almost 3 hours. So, I'm going to open it up. I'm going to give it a little stir here. Alright. So now what we going to do we have some broth. Yeah this going to be great. So to this now what we going to do is add one cup of heavy whipping cream. Right on in. Heavy whipping cream. And then we're going to add four cups of cheese. So what I like to do y'all I like to do one cup of pepper jack just because it gives it a little zest. Alright and then about three cups of extra sharp cheddar. So y'all know how I measure. One. Two. I should actually test and see if it's right. I feel like it probably is close. It's close enough. Three. Alright. So now we're going to do here is give this a little mix. Mix this up and you know what I'm going to eyeball it to see if I need to add more cheese. Let's see. This is going to be delicious broccoli cheese soup y'all. Um so we gotta mix this up. Oops I'm splashing. I'm splashing. My little cat's going to be over here being like give me some of that cheese. Okay you know what y'all? We need a little more cheese. We're going to do one more handful. One more handful of this sharp cheddar. Because why not? Right? It's not going to make it worse. That's impossible. Okay so now y'all what we're going to do here I'm going to cover this back up we're going to cook this on half for 30 to 45 minutes and then I'm so excited to taste this delicious delicious broccoli cheese soup alright y'all so I remember I put the cheese and the heavy cream in here and then I just let it sit on half for about 30 minutes alright so we're going to give it one final mix so y'all at this point you have a few choices y'all can y'all can puree it you know if you have one of those handheld immersion blenders or you can leave it chunky this. Um you could also cut up your broccoli smaller before you actually make the soup but I don't know. I I kind of like the big pieces so I'm just going to leave it like this but again y'all it's totally up to you. So we're going to put some in this bowl. Get some of that broth. This smells real good y'all. I love broccoli. And I love cheese. So you know what? How can this be bad? Y'all you want to know what actually I feel like this might be good with some bacon. But you know you know how I feel about bacon. So right before I serve it I like to do a little more cheese on top. Look at that y'all. Don't that look pretty? Gourmet. Right there. Gourmet. Mm mm. Uh okay so it's time to try it. Y'all I literally just stopped cooking this so it's going to be real hot. So we just going to take a little baby bite. Did a little bit of that broccoli, a little piece and I'm going to blow on it for a second. I'm looking for Kevin but I don't know where he went. He's getting crazy today y'all. His new favorite thing is to like wake me up in the middle of the night to get pet. So anyways. Y'all. Okay. This might be my new favorite thing. Y'all have to try this. Yeah, I'm going to fill this all the way up. Oh. Nice. Dump that a little bit and then we're just going to shake it. Ooh, I got the wrong lid. Alright, we're going to shake it so we can empty out that sauce, okay? It's a little messy but we love a good mess. Perfect. Now, we're going to take some What is this? Did I just forget what this is? Cream cheese. Cream cheese. We're going to take some cream cheese. And we've separated it into little blocks like this. But you can just dump it in there. Um The blocks, are they just to make it? Yeah, it it makes it melt a little bit better instead of it being one chunk and if you want to get your fingers in there, you can break em apart. Don't be scared to put your hands in there. Alright, now we're going to take a bag of parmesan and I dump that whole bag in there. You know we love cheese in this. Oh yeah. Cheese is the best. Then we're going to cover it and we're going to put it on high for three hours or low for 8 hours. See you soon. Doggy. Oh my goodness. Look at this. So beautiful. So now what we're going to do is we're going to stir this around. And this chicken will shred super easily. So just you know just put a little mussel in it. Put a little mussel into it. Look at how beautiful though. The sauce. Mm. The sauce. Can we talk? I can smell it from here. I can smell it like it smells so good. Gonna take my whisk and just use that to break down that chicken a little more. Oh yeah, it's a nice little technique. Yeah. Cuz you don't want it too shredded. I mean, I still like bite-sized pieces in there but I don't want the full chicken breast. Yeah. Now, we've cooked a full box of penny noodles. We're just going to dump those in there. We want to make sure to get all of em. Mm hmm. There we go. And put them penny noodles in there. And then we're going to stir them around and incorporate that into our chicken sauce here. I mean, this is literally the best thing I've ever laid my eyes on. If heaven. Looks delicious. If heaven was a food, I think this would be heaven. You think they would serve this in heaven? Lord, have I think Jesus is up there right now passing this out. Alright. Now, before I try this, I'm going to put a little bit of parmesan cheese on there because I love me some cheese and I'm just going to get me a scoop That looks good. That's a nice little bite. Alright. We gotta make sure we get everything. That chicken. Whoo. I can smell this and I I can already tell you this is going to be good. It's so good. I could tell I don't even need to try it.
